Weather Whiplash

The sun is shining, flowers are getting ready to bloom, and people everywhere are celebrating the fact they don’t have to wear five layers every time they step outside. Now, I don’t mean to complain, but does this not seem odd to anyone else in Arkansas? It was only two weeks ago that some parts of the state were getting snow still. It was an abnormally bad winter after all. How is it possible that we change so quickly? Is it too much to ask to have weather that gradually gets warmer and not where one day you have to wear your biggest coat to flip flops and shorts the next? My fear is that it warmed up so fast that it will become that horrific heat that makes saunas feel like a cool autumn afternoon.
Not only that but what are college students supposed to do? The dorms are one temperature that for example you need a light coat and your fine, then outside your melting wearing the jacket, but in the class room you’re freezing to death. Is it really hard to keep all the buildings on the same page? Maybe not the same temperature but don’t have the heat on in one building and the air on in another.
